The Maggie Sue-verse Chapter Link List

Yes It Is

We started "Yes It Is" for fun - knowing that a "Mary Sue" Beatles fanfic, let alone a time travel one, was kind of silly. But we did everything in our power to make it as believable as possible and to keep everyone in character. Since then, I'm not sure you could call our main character a Mary Sue anymore, and we've been very flattered and happy that we've developed the following that we have. We sort of have started thinking of our story as a "Lost in Austen" for Beatles fans.

What If Stories

We wrote these stories purely for fun. Don't consider them "canon" - they're mostly "what ifs", some funny, some serious.

1) Tomorrow Never Knows Alternate Ending

3) It's Your Move (set before Tomorrow Never Knows during the making of Sgt Pepper)

4) An Interlude (set during "Yes It Is", after the party Maggie Sue attends with John and the Beatles)

6) Just Like Starting Over, Part I (set sometime after the beginning of Chapter 6 of Yes It Is, it's an AU that explores another possible future for John and Maggie Sue)

Hello! We're really glad you want to read our sequel! It is indeed in the works! We've got 6 chapters written, the rest outlined, and we'll start posting them as soon as we've got a few more of them written. We want to be able to post them fairly regularly. I'm hoping that by the end of July we should be doing that. So, please check back. You'll definitely see them posted here. Probably once we start, we'll comment to people to let them know!

i figured i would just write this here since it's about all the chapters.

I just read everything you have posted in the "yes it is" universe and I love it. The whole concept though far-fetched works brilliantly and because of the outside character i found it a better way to get into the story.

I hope you continue to update!

Hi,

1) That's the plan! It'll take a little while for us to write enough to be able to start posting it. We want to have *at least* at 10 chapter lead, which is what we did this time. We had it plotted out from the start, though. We have Chap 1 of the 3rd book written, just haven't had time yet to do more right now, but we'll start that soon.

2) We could - if you have too many pages, it can be really expensive, but we can try to put all 3 in one and see how large it is! That will be pretty far in the future though, because the 3rd one isn't written you. We have definite plans to put Tomorrow Never Knows on Lulu once it's done being posted on LJ. :-)

Hey,
I absolutely love this series. It's so hard to find a really good Beatles fan fiction these days, especially one that's still going (a lot of the ones I've liked are no longer in progress and it's really disappointing to be left hanging) so it was a real delight to find this one! I'm really excited to see you'll be writing a third installment. I'll definitely be looking forward to it. In the meantime, do you know of any other good Beatles fan fiction I can add to my 'library'? Thanks!

Sorry, but we don't have an approximate arrival time. We're working on the story, but honestly, it could be 2 months or 2 years (though hopefully not nearly that long of a wait). We have no way of knowing - our lives are a bit busy & hectic.

Hopefully though, it'll be worth the wait.

I absolutely love the stories you guys have written. I read Yes It Is back when it was first being published and I reread it, Tomorrow Never Knows, and all of the supplemental stories just recently (In fact, I pulled an all-nighter reading them). I just love the writing style of the stories and I can't wait for Real Love to come out. It'll definitely be worth the wait. :)

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a good - and literary productive - Summer! How's "Real Love" coming so far? It's been some months since you've noted anything here, and just wanted to see if you anticipate releasing anything over the Fall or if 2012 is more realistic?
